Want A Belly Full Of Laughs? Vote For Charlie 'The Gagster' Gelding!

Well known for clowning around in the corral, Charlie 'the gagster' gelding has a wicked sense of humour. Last seen having a chuckle or two at Lost Valley’s guest rodeo, he’ll certainly find time to amuse you, whether he’s playing with buckets, lead ropes or just plain horsin’ around with his four legged friends.  In fact, watch out for those pails, as once he gets a taste for slinging buckets he’s likely to say, “pass me another!”

On any ranch day Charlie will have everyone doubling up in fits of laughter, and he’ll even smile for the camera if you tickle his teeth (see the picture above).  But if you really want to make him grin like a cheshire cat, ask him to saddle for the ‘Shane’s Burn Off” trail ride, as he loves to lope through the wildflowers.

A gregarious gelding, the wranglers tell us that if Charlie wins he’ll be making an announcement at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, and thanking all of his wonderful fans at the event.

Has Charlie made you chuckle? Here’s a quick round up on our merrymaker mount to help you decide…

Birth sign: Taurus
Nature: good sense of humour; charismatic leader; a socialite on four legs
Favourite treat: he’ll be in seventh heaven if you mention sunflower seeds!

Is Charlie your ‘stand up comic’ steed?  If so, send his name to competition@ranchrider.com (Don’t forget to add your full name, age, daytime telephone number, and email address!)  And as always, we promise to keep your details safe.

Watch out for yet another star horse-nality tomorrow and Hondo’s weekly Friday blog on www.ponymag.com

Moonshine is afraid of cows....Powder is afraid to be tied up, as she likes to pull back and try to bring down the barn, when she can't do that, she just brings down hitchin rails....Charlie will stand all day and will drive them ole doggies home...he is not afraid
